Local Data Protection
Exchange credentials and core trading settings are stored on your local machine. If you enable a cloud AI provider, the PriceWatch desktop application sends the disclosed strategy or market context directly to that provider. PriceWatch does not proxy those AI requests or receive the provider key, prompts, responses, or trade-gate logs.
5. AI Assistant and Third-Party Providers
PriceWatch 2.0 lets you connect an AI service you choose, including a cloud provider, another OpenAI-compatible service, or a locally operated model. Requests are sent directly from the PriceWatch software on your device to the provider or server address you configure.
Information included in AI requests
- Strategy Builder: your strategy description, the PriceWatch indicator catalogue, and relevant indicator-window settings.
- Trade Gate: relevant trading context and a market snapshot, which may include symbol, exchange, recent OHLCV candles, indicator values, trigger details, selected criteria names, trading mode, market-cap information, strategy runtime, and a take-profit value embedded in a selected AI Sell rule where applicable. Applying an AI strategy does not overwrite Desired Profit.
PriceWatch does not intentionally include exchange API keys, PriceWatch login credentials, account balances, or trade history in AI requests. Do not enter personal data, passwords, API keys, or other confidential information into free-text AI instructions.
Local AI files
Provider keys and AI settings are stored locally in encrypted form. Saved AI strategies, AI strategy-build logs, AI decision and outcome logs, and AI Review database records are stored locally as plaintext. They may contain strategy descriptions, criteria and expressions, market data, raw model responses, verdicts, reasons, and outcomes. Anyone with access to your device, backups, or synchronized folders may be able to read those files.
A cloud provider processes requests under its own privacy policy, terms, security practices, retention rules, billing arrangements, and geographic processing locations. Processing may occur outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Review the provider's documentation before enabling it. A local model keeps requests under your control only when the endpoint and network are genuinely controlled by you.

8. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained while subscription is active
- Cancelled accounts: Service access ends according to the applicable subscription terms; cancellation alone is not an account-deletion request
- Account deletion requests: Account data is normally deleted within 30 days, subject to identity checks and required legal retention
- Newsletter subscribers: Retained until unsubscribe
- Legal obligations: Some data may be retained for tax/legal requirements (up to 7 years)

10. International Data Transfers
Some website or account data may be stored with service providers outside Ireland or the European Economic Area, including in the United States. PriceWatch will not make such a transfer unless a lawful transfer mechanism is available and, where GDPR requires it, an appropriate Chapter V safeguard is in place. Depending on the destination and provider, that mechanism may be an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact legal@pricewatch.eu.com to ask which mechanism applies and how to obtain a copy.
Optional AI requests travel directly from your device to the provider you select rather than through PriceWatch servers. You instruct the software to make that connection and must review the provider's role, processing locations, privacy terms, and transfer safeguards before enabling it. TNG PriceWatch Limited does not control a provider's independent processing.
